Carl F. Ruoff
Counsel

Carl Ruoff's practice includes patent preparation and prosecution, product clearance, due diligence and transactional work. He is familiar with numerous technologies, focusing particularly on the chemical, materials, imaging, computer, display, lighting and printing arts. Mr. Ruoff has successfully prepared and prosecuted nearly four hundred patents.

Prior to joining Hoffman Warnick LLC, Mr. Ruoff served as IP counsel at Eastman Kodak, where he handled all aspects of intellectual property, including negotiating and drafting patent license agreements with numerous Fortune 500 companies. He has travelled extensively overseas regarding intellectual property matters and has managed a multi-million dollar patent license program. In addition, Mr. Ruoff has negotiated numerous development, research, software and confidentiality agreements, as well as instituted inventor training programs to increase patent input within corporate business divisions.
